Position Overview: Medical Weight Loss Physician

The Hartford HealthCare Medical Group (HHCMG) is seeking a board-certified physician in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, with qualifications in the evaluation and management of obesity and related co-morbidities, to join our Medical Weight Loss Program. Candidates must have completed an accredited fellowship in Obesity Medicine or hold Board Certification in Obesity Medicine (ABOM).

In this role, you will work closely with a multi-disciplinary team, including Bariatric Surgeons, advanced practitioners, and registered dietitians. You will have opportunities for research, teaching, and leadership, with an excellent work-life balance and a Monday-Friday schedule with no call.

  • ABOM certification in Obesity Medicine
  • Completion of accredited fellowship in Obesity Medicine or
  • B/C or B/E in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with an interest in Obesity Medicine and willingness to obtain certification
