Hartford HealthCare’s Behavioral Health Network (HHC BHN), the largest and most comprehensive behavioral health system in New England, has a new opportunity available for a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our cohesive multidisciplinary inpatient team at The Institute of Living, one of America’s “Ivy League” Behavioral Health Centers, and a national leader in comprehensive treatment, research and education.

 

Some highlights of this opportunity include:

  • The inpatient Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner practices with a team of providers on multiple inpatient adult units providing psychiatric treatment including: psychiatric evaluations; diagnosis;  prescribing; psychotherapy; coordination of care, and patient education
  • A teaching and research environment with supportive attending physicians
  • Frequent collaboration with other medical and mental health specialties
  • Monday through Friday days

Qualifications

Eligibility to be licensed in Connecticut as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN), is required. National Board Certification, or eligibility to be certified, as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) is required.
